I’m back!
Hi everyone, I’m finally home. Yes, I know, I’ve been gone for the better part of a month. The Lance Armstrong Live Strong Summit at Ohio State was very inspiring. We were priviledged to hear many unbelievable stories of courage from celebrities as well as people just like you and me. To me the important thing that I came away with both from the Summit and from my visit with my friend Cliff Beeks who is having chemo for lymphoma is that this cancer thing is a war and we have yet to win the war but the more people who help and support us in this series of battles the more likely we are to win the war. We were asked at the Summit to encourage all of our loved ones to ” vote yellow” this election. That is to vote for the presidential candidate who will make cancer a national priority. I’ve missed all of you and hope to hear from you soon. I am having a CT scan tomorrow to get another look at my tumor and then they will schedule my RFA. Say a prayer that this thing has not grown. I’ll update all of you when I know about the date for the RFA. Love, Pat
